This is just a game folks

No one is financing VGCX.  They will never be allowed to operate this mine again.  Someone will swoop in if feasable at Mangino rates to steal it if they know the FN and Yukon Gov't will reopen.  WE are talking at least 12 months.  Daytraders will trade this thing if volumes go over 2 million per day.  That makes it worthwhile at .10-20 swings.  Don't be fooled.  Both sides are at play on this board.  There are plenty of gold plays out there right now.  Ground floor and mid caps.  Oil is on the summer move.  Play cdn mid caps and Jr's.  Be careful here.  Gov't does not want to force bankruptcy but they do not want to lose power over this either.

Victoria employs a lot of natives. It is in their interest for it to reopen.

I thought the Victoria PR admission that they may not have the necessary funds to continue was devastating. I truly sympathize with the longs on this board who are having a difficult time pulling the trigger and accepting such a terrible investment loss. That being said, if it was me left holding the bag post-landslide, I would take advantage of today's dead cat bounce and sell to live another ...more

Government is launching an investigation into the cause of this disaster.  This will be an exhaustive forensic investigation that will take time, maybe this report won't be released until this winter, next spring? Who knows but it won't be soon.  The government will not make any decisions about the future of the mine until they receive this report, review it and then make ...more

I sold out at $1.07 a few days ago. I just come on this board out of morbid curiosity. Like after any major disaster, you can't get ur eyes off it. But whether you bail at 80 cents or a dollar or 50 cents, or even ride it down to zero, it don't change much. My average cost was around $8. When 90% of the money is gone, what is one to worry about.....whether you loose 91% or 95%, ....the ...more

Thank you Strato, My sentiments exactly in regards owning this or trading it, stated much better than I ever could.  If I was down to under a  buck from 8 I would either just sell it and move on.  Thats said if one can afford to just let it sit as baggage in the account it may go a bit higher if they ever get it running.  It's a gamble.  I have sold bad baggage in the ...more
