Lest You Forget!

If you look to my old post I noted the draw against the reclamation bond had some interesting legal issues in that the bond is meant for reclamation not for some screw up.  So is clean up of a spill reclamation?  Maybe I guess once the company is finished mining!  Tough arguement to say we want the company to continue but we are taking cash from a bond for when they finished mining..................

A law decision for another day I guess.  If the company is actually finished I guess one could argue the bond is clear to be used but is it?  Maybe when it is wiped out and sold to someone under conditions the bond carry's on for reclamation.  Interesting arguements ahead!

Well, I believe the bond is called a 'Reclamation Bond' for a reason and if I was the ones financially backing a $104 million bond, I'd sure be legally arguing that I never fronted the money so it could be used for environmental clean-up costs that allows the company to return to production and operating again as a going concern.
