Condensate Pricing??
Why is it such a mystery to find info on the internet, like daily prices and an historical chart? I would really appreciate if someone here knows where to get this info.
Thanks in advance.

Hey sugaree, I'm fairly sure condensate just trades at a 10 to 15% premium to whatever WTI is trading at. Someone on here should know if that's not right but I'm pretty sure it always just tracks WTI plus a small premium.

Thanks, I get that but there has to be an Alberta website that has the prices? I guess 10-15% premium and convert to cdn dollar? How could there not be an official posted price each day the way there is for AECO?

Rob. Right now Conde is sold for a premium because there is a less US conde imported. Us production is still by 2 million per day. Usually it is within WTI minus 5. You can get the daily price by googling PSAC market which shows daily prices and futures for Brent Wti aeco and Nymex. You cant hedge conde only Wti which gives you a dirty hedge hope this helps.

It is not a mystery. Edmonton Condensate futures can be found: https://www.cmegroup.com/trading/energy/crude-oil/canadian-c5-condensate-index-net-energy.html Daily condy frontmonth pricing can be seen: https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/NYMEX-CC51!/

Thanks. I found those earlier, but maybe I am just stupid as I simply dont understand it. If condensate trades at a premium to WTI and todays close of say $55, what does .932 USD mean?

You get daily and YTD info on PSAC market. You will have to build your own charts. You might get data a on CME.
