Northman....

One last thing to consider and I'd love your take here

-vii q4 is on feb 22
- was widely expected to be a great quarter with prices having improved for gas and condy over that time
- just based on a great quarter release we could see this jump as well and be around 9.50-10$
- if they show debt reduction I feel the stock runs

my opinion has been that vii needed a chance to
show what it can
do in a good price environment and if q4 is stellar as I am
hearing it can be.... then q 1 would have been excellent .....

here's my thought on what unfolds....
- nobody ever expected arc to be the suitor ... as such nobody expected vii to go as cheap as it did ... and I feel another offer from either cnrl or the likes is fourth comming with maybe a 15% sweetened offer or more
- I feel arc has anticipated that and will match it ...our best fit was with arc .... just nobody ever thought they'd get the financing

stay tuned but q4 is going to show that the deal was in fact undervalued and as such that's why I feel another offer is comming

I too thought that the Q4 release was going to be a good one. We shall see! I'd love to have a few more ARC shares than their original offer. I would not like to own CNRL shares, however. If that was the case I may in fact sell at the higher price and buy ARX.
