i highly doubt this deal will do anything for the share price. It is a done deal and the market does not like it. Meanwhile many other stocks have gone up 20%, 30% or more since this deal was announced.  My brother, who onwned this, shortly after the deal i suggested sell at $8.63 and try ATH at .45 and so he did. Wish i bought ATH but didn't. VII  today at 8.60, ATH at .61. He is a ...more

Completely erroneous statement.  The market has gone sideways since this deal was announced.  As with WCP, which I own a lot of, not much happened until the deals closed, then share price appreciation.  Your much hyped POU has about the same return as VII since the deal was announced.  Hmmmm..... I'm voting yes.  As with my CNQ and TOU, this will be a very good long ...more

Westcoast, you are correct on the still gassy POU as it is only up about 3% from Feb 10 to Friday Mar 5.  Overall oily stocks are up significantly versus the gassier stocks...7G and Arx slightly up over that same time frame per below.  I'll list Feb 10 and then Mar 5 closes respectively - WCP $5.19 vs. $6.76 (+30%);  CPG $4.02 vs. $5.50 (+37%);  Surge $0.495 vs. $0.69 (+39% ...more

I would argure, that CPG prices only increased after a Shell purchase, that TOU is a gas stock, Pey is a gas stock. POU is up from under a dollar and has approached 12 dollars, I know and have participated in this. To tie VII generation to ARC is like tieing VII generations to a boat anchor.  VII generation is a unique company and the largest producer in Canada of condensate, they is a ...more

Is it April 6th yet? I'll just be glad when this deal closes and we don't have to put up with MHPs never-ending rants on both boards each day. The big boys have made thier moves and all that's left are the formalities. Get on board or find another opportunity that's more to your liking.

Topaz was formed because TOU did not get a proper evaluation for their infastructure assets. Moving those assets into TOPAZ allowed TOU to remove pressure from it balance sheet, and get a high multiple for those asset. TOU now get a dividend from TOPAZ so did their cost really go up that much? What would it look like for VII generation if they sold 3 gas plants for 1.5 billion dollars. They are ...more

You amaze me MHP. I fear I'm risking further encouragement by acknowledging you can actually formulate a solid post from time to time but my god man, your talking out of your @$$ 95% of the time. What are you hoping to accomplish with you incessant ranting?
