Huge Increase in Turkish natural gas prices

Lira is so weak compared to usd, check gas price last 3 months in Usd. Shame

Over the past year, the lira has gone from 13 to 7.7. Gains in the USD has kept the price of gas denominated in USD  to about $8 currently.   Difficult to assess the affect if any on Deep Thrace and has no effect on our share price as Deep Thrace is not reflected in the current market cap. Anybody have other cash rich / no debt oil stocks besides Tenaz which is looking to acquire

Nozz, There are a few CDN International public Co's that are strong enough (PAREX, Frontera) to do something here but they operate in Columbia and other areas. VLE has stated that they want to continue to be international player but they should be challenged for their rationale. The prizes are large in international ops, the competition is real and the costs are generally not in the realm

For clarity, Headwater (HWX) acquired Corridor Resources which had minimal production (but stable) in New Brunswick, a large stash of cash and some valuable tax pools.  They were acquired because they put the Co up for stategic alternatives (public process). VLE has cash, no production and undeveloped land and no ability to drill except for a few exploration wells - should they choose to do

Thank you. I also made good coin on HWX. We should not waste our time seeking a JV partner. Forcing a publicly expressed strategic review based on maximization of assets ...putting ourselves up for sale to the highest best qualified buyer...is necessary here. That would include acquisitions, project JV, mergers on a equity basis etc. Further, we should not restrict ourselves to just energy
