Excited or Nervous??))

It seems to me that the management and board at at this time are very very excited, to anounce the deal(s) that they have put into place .. or very very nervous as the axe looms over their collective necks.
 
It will be a wild success if they bring the goods or a wild embarasement for all of the principals past and present if this thing goes down. What a shame if this is their swan song .. it would be such a sour note for them all to go out on.

Not long to wait now .. I've been in their corner all along .. Hopefully they bring the goods. :)

I am not sure where you get this feeling that they are excited or nervous. I have rarely if ever seen a management team get swept out without a significant shareholder (ie 20% or more) being disgruntled. Unless BG is looking to remove them, I don't see how disgruntled SH posters are going to do it unless guys here are holding 10s of millions of shares which I highly doubt. I am not saying i

I agree, the "Valeura Shareholders Association" with a membership of one (1) is a joke and their constant natteringing is at best annoying. To your point though, what makes you think BG is not disgruntled? Do you think BG likes watching their capital be erroded year after year without so much as glimmer of hope? I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of shareholders removing

I have some familiarity with the numbers required but never really been a part of ousting management but I do believe that prior to proxies being sent out, some application has to be submitted by a holder (or collection of holders) of at least 5% of the outstanding shares to either propose a new person on the board of directors or a slate of people to replace the current board. Must be hard to contain your entusiasm.  Best deal IMO, would be someone takes VLE over on an RTO for the cash and listing and then  management (unfortunately) collects their mega-severance bucks. Multiple material events are possible. 1......closing out the business and returning net cash to shareholders  2....using cash to acquire producing assets  3..being acquired for cash by a suitor with a new project and change of control 4....a merger with a suitor with funds to drill Thrace Deeps Other options exist but the above events all require shareholder approval My

I keep buying VLE and the equity that my research has identified as most likely. There is no doubt in my mind that we shall receive full disclosure on or before May 9..
