The Deeps will get Drilled

Mark that statement in your scribblers assuming gas prices remain robust .

Management have the Deeps as a core asset for a reason.

Drilling the next appraisal well.....as the promotional skills of management have been well demonstrated when the asset is promotable ..provides shareholders with multiples of market cap gains relative to the $14 million drilling cost.

Our market cap exceeded $500 million when the Deeps were at its ascendancy.

There are several options to finance such a modest expenditures .

We have substantial remaining cash hoards but that need not be used for the Deeps.

We will be cash flowing $36 million US per year at current oil prices once Thai production resumes in late 2022.

Along with the probability that another producing asset will be acquired in the next while, our share price should increase to the $2 level or more.

So raising $15 million by an equity raise seems quite reasonable at that point, which needs only modest cash to get the Deeps appraisal well drilled.

But, you cannot overlook the possibility that another  aligned Junior will take 50% of the project reducing  individual costs to the $10 million each.

You can make your own guess as to how much drilling the Deeps appraisal well will elevate the market cap.
Just a $0.20 increase in the share price covers our equity investment in the Deeps.

I figure an order of magnitude increse higher might eventuate under favourable price milieus.

So, many options are available to drilling that Deeps appraisal well, on the cheap, with equity returns generating multiples of upside to shareholders.

Afterall, advancing the wealth of your shareholders is what a public listing is all about.

The market over the last couple of days has shown little interest in this deal and this management team. Too little too late. In the small cap space you get very few second chances. Name me one success story from Thailand?

Hey Lip, if you don't like the asset fine, sell your stock, if you have any at all, and shut your pie hole. Goodbye. Doc.

It's a story man.  Tell a story, people get juiced up (maybe), buys time for more salary accumulation and now they have a new travel destination for "business".  Do you think since the last company went broke that these "assets" were maintained well?  Did they get an exploration block with it or just a platform with declining production?  If so, big ...more

yes I remeber Coastal fondly... nice run This will have headwinds as we shareholders are fed up and were hoping for some magical transaction to exit at $1 overnight.  But the reality is that this will have to prove itself, and will have the overhead of clearing out the many shares that want out.  Now that the deal is known  many will start to sell and a new story will take months ...more
