Much needed breather for this stock; chance to get inside Bollinger’s band …..and maybe buy few more shares? Not for me …no but I know I won’t be selling any of my old position (established prior to Thrace euphoria) anytime soon. I also think that all this talk here on this board about dividend is a bit premature and more of a ‘wishful thinking’.
The reality is that VLE needs to move forward first  with ‘hands on  appraisal’ of what they bought & plan of action of how to monetize the unpaid for upside potential if there is any. The immediate drilling to take place was likely planned a while back by previous owners but any tangible new development is contingent on those results. I would hold off on counting any dividends for now & wait a year or so to see how VLE makes out on this deal.

I don't disagree with you Cyber .. The potential dividend is probably 6 - 12 month away (Though, as I said before, it got my attention the SG mentioned it in the presentation which makes me think sooner rather than later) The upside to this is that they and the market will better understand the value of the assets and SG and the gang will, potentially, have done another major acquisition or

Unfortunately 37, your position on divided is misinformed or worse intentionally ignorant. You speak as if you know what the company is facing in the next few months better than the CEO who put this deal together and who knows the details of its cash flow and tax credits. A CEO would not allude to a board reconsidering divided position if he did not think there was a big likelihood that it will be

If we go by what the CEO has said, if we can trust that he knows the state of the company better than we do, this is the most likely conclusion.  It's a realistic deduction from the briefs we have been given. Not hawkish or overly optimistic imo.
