VlE deal is a benchmark of value creation and only being noticed. Sitting tight, even at 5, this will be a great long term buy imo.

Here's one for you... Coastal Energy was acquired by CEPSA in 2013 for $2.3 billion. Coastal was a Canadian listed oil and gas producer with assets in Thailand and Malaysia. Here's the kicker - they produced 24,000 boe/d at the time fo sale (even less than VLE). Different market now granted its 10 years later but VLE would be worth $25 per share on this basis. Exactly BER.. Neither does the marker realize/accept that Valeura has been producing around 21,000bpd for the last 5 months or so now. The true scale of transformation and the reality of this deal is still eluding most investors. Focus on Wassana adds to the ongoing masking, but you just found a classic example of what this is worth, and with indurstry insiders predicting a bullish 'near ...more
