No surprise though. You think Mubby is going to reinvest in assets they are selling from announcement to close? Wait until VLE gets in there and has the opportunity to optimize and infill. Reality is we're talking a 1,500 boe/d difference on a 20,000 boe/d deal. So the $10mm paid for the assets is now $500 per boe/d more expensive... production could be cut in half and this is still the deal ...more

Agreed good work. Especially because it signals Mubby has thrown in the towel and the Thai Goverment should want a new player in there to boost production and their tax dollars. Risk of closing nil IMO.

You guys are spot on. imo, it is the same picture I expect the reserve reports to paint! Hope we get Wassana vessel sailing out this week, expecting a positive spin on that production as well. Its all about an assert being valued and optimised, compared to it being treated as a fringe assets. Great next few weeks, as all this pans out and actual numbers are confrmed with a paycheck to Valeura ...more

USD 60M + 240M clean up liabilities. Total USD 300M It all depends on how long they can delay clean up lianbilities and if they even get the bond for th4 govt in the first place when 90% of the bond folks have left the O&G space.
