Bullish directors move

They want save tax on futur gain

If the managers thought the stock price was going to go down - you don't exercise your options at .75 because you have to pay your taxes on the difference the day you exercise your options (e.g. 2.50) - so 1.75 of revenue per option exercised;

So the acquisition price becomes $2.50 - from there it becomes a capital gain or loss from $2.50;

So the only reason to exercise their options now is to create a future capital gain (50% taxable) starting at $2.50 versus 100% taxable income if they keep their options

They expire on March 23, 2023 so they could have waited a month but I wouldn't read into it too much. The only other reason is there is a surpirse dividend once the Mubby cash comes in and they want to take advantage of it.

It's obvious that something very good is coming.  They are obviously getting prepared.  At least now we know why the SP pulled back. McFarlane paid $105,000 and sold $148,590 worth at the offering price. Why 58,500 shares?  And why 2.54? My guess is that someone wanted a block of shares at the offering price. It would be interesting to see house positions for telltale signs. I ...more
