I have to say, I have every faith in these guys and gals .. But even for the devout, the waiting is a bit painful. :P

I haven't heard anything to suggest that there is a problem with either of their deals and my understanding is that the closing conditions are very light and so to me it seems it is just the mechanics of acquiring 20,000 + bopd that takes a little time.

Once the deal closes, the numbers are wild and my expectation is low to mid-teens/share. And then there is that 100 million or so that will hit their bank account upon closing. It would seem to me that this capital would be most effectively used to make another acquisition of say 10,000 bopd? Now, by my books we are north of $20/share. And then there is the Thrace ;)

Right on the money Doc. At every opportunity, SG has said they are looking at other deals, so every reason to believe there will be some additions soon. Yeah, waiting is no fun for anyobe, but we still got just over 3 weeks on their initial timeline for Mubby deal, nothing is late there, not even for a day. This will catch a lot of people waiting to save a cent or two.. and while we wait, Valuera

Great Post Doc Sean needs to do better on his timing but delays happen and i believe this is all this is Question What Happens if monday we get news that the FSO is enroute wassana will be flowing shortly and also we have closed the deal with mubadaia today and we also would like to announce we have a partnership in turkey signed and a new deal closing adding xxx bpd could happen ! not likely

Getting paid ZERO.   The contracts likely suck because if they did have a late deliver daily $50K  liquidated damages  they would be producing 3000 bbl day for last 5 weeks. This also means the Mubadala deal can easily turn i to another typical Fatah deal with no recourse for VLE. Very high change of losi g the gamble with VLE dut to their poor no recourse contracts so sell

Mubby began a 7 month drilling program in January so the extra cash flow is quite useful , so why close the deal early . Who knows what other moves SG is looking at while waiting in the bullpen..

Well im not on govt supports like 90%of Canadians and can afford to lose $4M with out batting an eyelid though most cant and they should sell.
