Dividend

A scary day on the ticker today. I am still very confident that these guys have their deals in hand and we will be away to the races shortly.

While we wait for announcements, just a little postulating on what the dividend might be ..

If VLE were to issue a dividend of just $0.01/share a month the cost to the company, on a monthly basis, would be $900,000 assuming 90 million shares outstanding.

From the VLE information they're making $30,000,000 a month. (I don't recall, is that FCC or Gross?)
Either way monthly dfividend of $0.03/share would only be 10% of the 30 million/month which seems a very conservative dividend payment. That works for me .. A nickle per share per month would be better ;)

All the best to longs,

Doc.

I suspect a dividend is not in the foreseeable future as they have so many project on the go and i believe the first order of business is to counter declines and increase production to 30,000 bopd within the next year. That will consume a lot of capital and will significantly increase shareholder value and reserves over a divy.  IMO that's the quickest way to a $10.00 + share price.

The path you favor is a good one, but don't forget this company has a combined $80M credit to develop these facilities and millions in cash in the bank all before the windfall from Mubby deal. This divy talk would not be going on if Sean had not responded affirmatively when asked about potential for dividend in the near future. He said he does see a possibility of the board approving one ...more
