Tax Loss CF
You guys can model no taxes payable and trading at 1/2 times CF if you want. I'm perfectly happy modeling 50% taxes until such time they give some guidance on the subject. If we knew for a fact that there'd be NIL taxes or a huge savings we'd be trading higher than this. If I've missed them providing this guidance, link it. You don't need to assume the best case, there's more than enough to justify a much higher SP's assuming 50% taxes. This beauty is these guys are just getting started and the big money is still on the outside, kicking the tires.

They haven't told us how much and when they can use this Kris Energy tax asset against Busrakham production. I want to read confirmation on the subject, I'm not disputing the numbers on Sedar.

Management has confirmed they can use them but possibly not on all fields as they have different rules. But agree no need to bank on them. Should all come out in the reserve report in a few weeks. Disappointed they didn't disclose the cash position but current production was a win. Going to be a great buying opportunity over the next few weeks. GLTA

Might be towing a replacement which is far better than losing $150K day profits

That is a quick turnaround time since the news and she is sailing. Definitely looks like a fix plan in action. Love how these guys are making every day count.

Can you explain your line of thinking on this. To me I assume they pay a daily rate for the tanker and if they know they will not be needing it for a longer length of time would cut it loose to stop the daily charges.

I simply said events have turned around quickly and they must have already come up with a remedy, quite positive timeline. I thought that is simple enough? What else need to be explained there? If you recorn they are doing it to save money, all the better. Means a lot more of that 21,500bpd @ $85, mostly tax free is going straight to the bank.

The tanker is under a decade plus take-or-pay obviously, otherwise, it woukd habe not been rescued from the scrsppers in China and restored with modifications that undoubtedly cost milions. Posaible i surance will cover lost profit but who knows looks li,e they cut corners with no tugs on site to assist with connecting the ship in the first place.
