In keeping with Valeura’s strict health, safety, and environmental standards, the Company is working collaboratively with Thailand’s upstream regulator, the Department of Mineral Fuels, to ensure the safe re-start of production operations, which will now entail a thorough inspection to assess damage and verify the operational integrity of the complete offloading system before startup.

A reputational disaster that will impact their risk profile eventhough sloppy work and accidents are common in canada with no consequence its a different story elsewhere.

Delays are to be expected as Valeura most likely operates as per high health, safety, and environmental standards as practiced in Canada. Perhaps if this was Middle East or say some backwards russian company things would move quicker but ….I much prefer to be civilized. I’m also not clear as to profitability of acquired properties & need for the recent borrowing. Hope I was wrong in my ...more

LOL you have zero intl exposure and are clueless both places you ref have exponentially higher standards and actual enforcement standards where as Canada is a backwater where $10fines max for work place deaths, tens of thousands of polluting orphan wells and extensive non compliance with zero enforcement...
