As per Mr. google: A cup and handle is a technical chart pattern that resembles a cup and handle where the cup is in the shape of a "u" and the handle has a slight downward drift. A cup and handle is considered a bullish signal extending an uptrend, and it is used to spot opportunities to go long. Not a breakout yet. Doesn't mean it's done. Pause on a handle is normal. Sideways or slightly down is ok. Once the profit takers are gone, up, up and away.

Why are you guys rattling about cups and handles with this stock? Why not throw in placemats and napkins? VLE is a stock that has depended on and will continue to depend on fundamentals like its production prospects, the price of oil, the possibility of new acquisitions, performance from prior acquisitions, etc etc. All this talk about technical analysis with a small cap stock like vle is ...more
