Legacy oil and gas assets

What VLE is doing reminds me of Hilcorp.  They have grown to over 135,000 boepd by acquiring and exploiting legacy assets formerly owned by the majors (ExxonMobil et al) in the USA.  Buy, exploit and add value.  I believe that VLE is following the same path in their operating areas.

Jeffrey Hildebrand, founder of Hilcorp, is an extremely successful geologist with a Masters in Engineering and a respected leader. Sean Guest and his team have the same qualities.

"Hilcorp is a leader in taking on legacy oil and gas assets across the United States and reinvigorating production with innovation and integrity. We thrive on efficiency and create value through energy production, reduction of emissions, and a positive impact on the communities where we work."
