Sean, please give us a 10 cent dividend

It's not much and would do wonders for the stock.

Yes a dividend would be nice, may be a penny a month. However if they can pull off a fairly good acquisition then I'm OK to wait for the dividend. We should see a double in share price in the very close future.  The reason it's so cheap is that nobody knows about this company yet but they are working on it. Great management team!!

Yes, the wonder would be, that the stock goes down then. Discussed a thousand times...divi makes zero sense. Row: debt payback, Nong Yao expansion, Wassana expansion, share buyback, acquisition. No divi in that row...why ? It would be taxed 3 times...company various income taxes, 15% foreign currency stuff, personal tax = max. value destruction. THIS IS NO INCOME VEHICLE....

Sure... The cash is already taxed.  There is over US$116 million cash sitting there and growing.  Hardly any debt left.  Give a little to shareholders no shock to the stock... will certainly raise interest in the market and attract more shareholders. One time only, US$8 million would give us 10 cents now. It's less than 10%.  No big deal.  Still lots left for Capex.. ...more

Agree. What is the point of keep expanding, making tons of money but not returning anything to shareholders?

So even though impact of Israel-Hamas conflict on oil price will be short lived this will only positively affect VLE since any bump in oil price goes directly to the bottom line. As for dividends at this stage…..totally silly idea; company has its’ hands full trying to stop declines & drill for new production. Although there are very positive prospects on the horizon they will need all ...more

Wow!  I didn't know a one time special dividend of a few percent of annual free cash flow would break this company.   One dividend, NOT dividends. Just one minor dividend of US$8 million will send a buy and hold signal to the market and give us some extra cash in our pockets.  Next quarter all debt will be paid off, just US$13 million left. FCF is close to US$50 million a ...more

The volatiliy in this stock is 10+ Cents every day....grab it and stop begging and whinig for a divi. I hope you're in it for Dollars, not for Cents.

A dividend adds value and attracts investors. It would send a message to the market that management is in it for the shareholders. The more interest, the more money flowing in instead of out. Pennies, please.  You really don't understand. Try reading what I write before flapping your mouth off.

They also had 20M in capital raises so pre purchase cash was $70M.  Total cash after 9 mths only increase $35M on revenue of $350M or so.  With a 10% post tax profit there is nothing left for SH after they dillute more to fund payment guarantees backing more drilling rigs and field expansion and its related clean up liabilities related bonding and LCs. LOL they had $70M 9 mths ago, spent $350M to date and only have $105M before corp income tax (after petrolium tax paid) and bonuses etc for net $52M.    They are down $20M  / 28% Net Cash now haha.  10% post tax profit is their projections from day one and they are missing that big time. Math is hard LOL.

My Math is just fine remember i bought most of your shares for .50 cents that was so nice of you 9 months ago zero bpd today 20,000 bpd the math works just fine for me you said you sold out so are you here to scare some shares out ?
Comment by moneysworth on Oct 11, 2023 12:04am
There's absolutely NO question FW remains here trying to scare some shares out. However, he's such a small time player, the few shares he continues to chase higher than what he orginally sold them for, are truly miniscule. Sadly, he's just a typical online scammer who's definitely best to ignore. :)

I'm scratching my head trying to understand your obsession with a dividend. Unless you have 10's of thousands of shares a dividend will not be significant. It's better to use extra money for a share buy back program or an acquisition.
Comment by Suppe11 on Oct 10, 2023 6:23am
They think, the stock price will go up with a divi, which is wrong. You get some downside protection, if the divi is sustainable, you get a haircut, if the divi is cut. Your shareprice will be flat, because a divi is a zero sum game, which most of the investors fail to understand. So if the people are not totally clueless (which I don't know), I guess, they're bored, to hold a stock and ...more
