Let me remind readers of this April Fool's joke you posted: "They hardly mention covid 19 anymore? Now all they talk about is the new variant virus..........the old original covid simply not bad enough news anymore.........thats what you call sensationalism." I have to wonder who's been indoctrinated when the reported numbers (ie., facts) are the reason for the new focus.
