Yup... I expect he pulls his ultra platinum golden parachute soon. Considering inflation and the stellar job he's done raising the share price from ~$10 when he took the helm, he should be entitled to at least $25 million to walk away along with his pockets and crates filled with free CCCPG shares and warrants. Who's next in line at the CCCPG politburo to take the helm?

I've mentioned it before here a while back. I worked for suncor in 2014 when oil took its first downturn. I was part of the downturn and sent home. They cleaned house immediately and held no prisoners.  I lost my job but respected the company for making the decisions they did to keep their head above water.  I also had friends working for CPG at same time. They were still working ...more

Well said.  Running an oil company in the middle of a multi-year boom is one thing.  Making good decisions with that cash flow is another.  Executive skill and savvy have a huge effect on the success of these companies.   Follow good executives, and you will make money.  Buy into companies run by mediocre or bad executive teams, you will pay for it.   ...more

There have been no real surprises with the current direction of the company.  Daily howls from the same people who want the dividend increase but overwhelmingly steady direction and clear communication on that direction is the current management's MO.  It may not be as exciting as banging on a drum but it should pay off big when the balance sheet screems "RE-RATE ME, COCKSUCKER! ...more
