Then cpg would be closer to 10.00 to 12.00 ........imo

Whitecap has a higher Dividend but if you look at the 1 year return Cpg 257% versus Wcp 188%, the higher dividend hasn’t done much for Whitecap.

No argument Barney but if you want to do a fair assessment of which company has recovered from the crash better you have to compare the performance from March 2020 both should be close to 8 baggers whitecap just recovered quicker

To tell you the truth BigJake I'm disappointed with both Wcp and Cpg. I've been a long term holder in both, in the Green from averaging in but thought both would have done much better. Actually sold Baytex to buy more which so far has been a mistake. Our day will come.

Maybe next quarter? If not maybe the quarter after that? So what is everyone missing? Maybe CPG is hiding something? Maybe they are hoping they get bought out, and on the cheap to boot? Whats really going to get interesting is how CPG stock reacts to government emissions that are going to get imposed on the sector soon. Kinda worried the Environment doughbrain is just waiting till the resumption ...more
