Crude Price

IMO, the price of crude will spring back up quickly and the reason is that Putin has no desire to come to any kind of a truce or stop his attack, the purpose of the talks for him are simply an advantage for his forces, the Ukrainians will use up more food and water as the talks proceed and thus make them more vulnerable later as the attack continues. As Biden told Putin to his face that Putin has no soul, and Putin keeps proving him right.

I agree, no way this war ends anytime soon. As well, this price decline is mostly driven by oil inventory drawdowns but that can only last for so long. I think oil above a $100 is the reality for at least the next 1-2 years.

Didn't take long for crude prices to make a significant recovery. Nice situatiion for thoses that added during the dip. IMO, we are likely still in a long period of crude price instability. Just wonder how the market, Europe and the West is going to react when the time comes that Russia takes control of the Ukraine, many there will have perished due to starvation, lack of water, medicine and ...more
