Buy and hold does not work

But how long a hold your talking about?if you buy at 10 oclock and sell at noon your still buying and holding........can you be more specific? Should i use a stop loss or not?

I will work if the price of oil stays at these levels because CPG is still undefvalued. Averaging down or up works too. There are no right or wrong rules really just a set of circumstances to deal with. CPG should easily have EBITA of 3 billion this year. And no tax to pay on that sum either. The market cap is 5.6 Billion (and a resonable debt load puts the EV ~ $7-8 Billion) Unless something ...more

This is a buy and hold for two to five year miniumn oil wil stayevelated for at least  2 plus years if not the next 10 no one is putting money into the ground it's all going to pay debt off buy back shares and then pay dividends this will be a money machine for the foreseeable future will most likely double or triple from here

SAF. I never use stop losses. I do not see the point. It is better just to sell manually if you sense a change in circumstances. You are just giving the market makers and brokers a incentive to  try to run thoses stops  on an off day. Stops also give these people insight into your level of conviction. Better  to make them do thier job in the dark as much as possible. If you do ...more
