I could just wait a couple days and see what the numbers are in the Q3 report, but I can't resist speculating.  Here are my estimates:    Revenue :                                   1,000 M $C    Opex + Roy + Transp + G&A:       350 M $C    Cash ...more

my opinion in CAD revenue: ~1100 $ opec + roy+tran+g&a+ interest :~ 420 $ depletion :~ 250 $ hedging loss:~ 160$ net income 275$ ~0.49$ p/s FCF 300$ shares bought 10M special div 0.06$

How did you come up with $0.06 value for the special dividend?  I'm expecting it to be significantly more than that (like $0.25).
Comment by MuffleR on Oct 24, 2022 4:03pm
it wouldnt be that high. in my analysis ~75% would go to ncib and 25~ to special out of 50% of FCF after base div of  0.08  accounts for appox those number. 0.25$ special div per Quarter is not reasonable (maybe for fiscal year)  bottom line - the number's range are known, but the management decision when to initiate it is unknown. :)

TD is forecasting a $0.22/share special dividend. They have the cost pegged at $115 million. Who knows what it's gonna be for sure but my gut feeling says it will be closer to $0.22 than it will be to $0.06. Hopefully they announce this week.

Actually its $0.0035 cents. Slap in the face from management!

I'm seeing $0.035 in the ER. Still a slap in the face. Some things never change. That's why I'm out today.
