Mixed Shelf Filing

CPG reported good results, emphasizing their vision of progressively increaing buybacks and dividends, lower debt targets and capital restraints.

Then they end the week filing a mixed shelf offering ?

Seems contradictory, and puzzling.

COULD BE TO KEEP OPTIONS OPEN SHOULD THERE BE FUTURE NEED---BASIC FINANCIAL PLANNING.

That's what I'm thinking as well.. always good to be prepared with options if a good deal presents itself.. although I don't want them to get too debt ridden either..
