Oh Cra ppp.

Another tmx delay ...this time 2 years ....man it's hard to make a buck here ...

Ridiculous. Regulators provided no explanation or rationale for the delay. Simply said no.  What will it take for Canadians to wake up to the fact we are under attack from within. The entire Trudeau liberal/ndp cabal need to ousted and never ever allowed anywhere near the levers of power.

One Govt department vs another Govt department, construction costs could end up so high that shipping fees would stave off any shipments. Good news is excessve TMX fees will allow ENB to charge more for mainline. Why not build that pipeline section above ground?

Yup another instance of the regulators playing god..!  The company tables issues and remedies to the potential problems but the bone head regulators don't want to hear it..!!  Why avoid potential problems.. lets just blow past common sense and prove we're not flexible at all.. these regulators should be sued or replaced..! IMO.. And you wonder why global investors are weary about ...more

Trudeau put the kybosh on Canadian growth and put us into the worst debt ever which may be called the death knell for Canada in the near future.

While I agree it's time for Trudeau to go, I also believe he bought this pipeline (on our behalf) for the obvious practical reasons we can all agree upon. Otherwise, it would not be happening. Do you really think he is personally responsible for for the regulatory hold-ups on this section of pipe? Can a Prime Minister override them? Thank goodness, no. There is a reason regulations ...more

Trudeau didn't buy TMX for practical reasons. Kinder Morgan was fully prepared to design it, build it, and operate it, but the roadblocks being thrown up by the Feds and eco terrorist protestors was the writing on the wall for them and they told Trudy and his gang they were out of here, and were heading back south where they could make some money with Trump politics in Texas. Trudy was backed ...more

The other alternative would be to have the pipe above ground for 1-2 km. and bury it with gravel and dirt or leave it exposed. Just get the job done.
Comment by Canoftuna on Dec 15, 2023 6:30pm
For what it's worth... plumbing 101... you can't take a section of pipe and decrease it's size and then inrease it. It will only increase pressure and decrease flow. (Fewer boe going through). The 36 in section will only carry what goes through the 30 in section. The regulator is right. Make them dig harder. This is not allowed in plumbing. If you do this, the entire pipeline would be ...more

Without regulators or inspectors people will build your houses out of paper if they can get away with it..  has nothing to do with god.
