Veren Mention - Market call

On todays Market Call show (BNN), analyst Greg Newman taking a question on Canadian Natural Resource stock (CNQ) says if he were to buy an oil stock today it would be Veren which is a lot cheaper with much more upside than CNQ, which he also liked very much.

Too bad because nobody knows who this "veren" is, was or is going to be except us oil geeks....LOTS of people had heard of Crescent Point Energy over the years.....WTF did the name change accomplish other than create revenue for some consultants and cost the company hundreds of thousands of dollars in the "re-branding"???? Nothing at all except for loss of a well known brand ...more

Surprised that stockchase didn't mention anything because despite all these great comments about CNQ, when asked if he would buy it here, he said he would rather buy VRN because it's a much better value.
