TMX crude QUALITY concerns....................

The basic issue is that TMX carries OTHER Products - Such as Gasoline, Diesel and Jet Fuel - and these residuals mix with the Crude Shipments.

So WHY NOT Ship ONLY Crude in the NEW PIPELINE__And Ship the VOLATILE Products in the 
OLD Original Pipeline ???

from what I read elsewhere....the "volatile products" are added to bitumen to make it flow through the pipe/equipment....Gulf coast refineries are used to that "recipe"....it's new to the California customers. TM has always been unique in that it can and was desgined ship multiple grades of unrefined/refined products....known as "batching"....it's been doing ...more
