Oil is in the green and Veren going the opposite direction.  Shocker.  Name change from CPG was a red flag - lipstick on a pig! Trying to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic from a management perspective.....

Y'a well we need to get the debt at 2.3b so we get more return for shareholders .... anyway the day is not over , if oil get up 1 $ we maybe in green lol

For the record I own substantial WCP and VRN - the biggest difference to me is the debt with VRN having nearly triple the long term debt.

Individual or corporate debt is never good , when it's big it's even worst , try to get a loan if you have 50k on credit cards ..... same for corporations nobody like you lol

Good point about the VRN debt but at the same time the VRN dividend is lower thus allowing for more NCIB and faster debt pay downs. Both companies are making some fine profits even at today's crude prices. If the interest rates continue coming down that should also provide more stimulus for the economy to grow and with it increase consumption of oil related products and likely crude prices as ...more
