In regards to your reply on Cheap Chinese Junk, a couple of comments China has extremely cold areas in the country just like us  and  l don't consider their offerings junk . That said l agree with you entirely , l wouldn't own any EV for love or money , the idea promulgated by both Biden  and our Klown Prince is a sham. Unless there is divine intervention the Libturds here are ancient history for the next decade to come and it's still a good bet that the Dems are going to get what's coming as well in November. My point was , if that pair of Libturd idealists think and want anyone other than upper middle classes and wealthier to buy an EV they better make it affordable , but they are just so foolish to promote a homegrown industry run by the Big Unions that can't compete. The building of battery plants is just really braindead , on a much smaller scale is remincent of Nova Scotia and Delorean , just another waste of taxpayer money , just like handing over the TMX for free backed by Taxpayer money in the name of Political Correctness. Fortunately saner minds will prevail and the industry including VRN is and always will be risilient dispite the shenanigans promoted by Ottawa and Washington..

The country sold our scrap iron to China for years by the ship load and they run it all through the process and manufacture stuff and send it back. The problem is its no damn good. New equipment like log grapples for 120K and you can take a hammer and knock a dent in it. In a year its wore out and all cracked to $hitt and theres no carbon in it and you cant even weld it properly. Same with wire ...more

Lada... now there's a memory. I was living in New Westminster in the early 90s. Can still remember when a Lada dealership opened on Columbia St near the Labatt's brewery. I think it lasted maybe a year. From Lada to Tesla... that's a good analogy of what's happened to the cost of living in the lower main land. LOL!
