I was watching market call with David Baskin last week, he mentioned it is impossible to analyze Valeant and would not buy this stock. It also, has immense debt and all the acquisitions make it difficult to understand the company. He categorized Nortel and JDS Uniphase as similar to Valeant and would stay away.
