Buffett buys Kinder Morgan stake

Any thoughts on Berkshire's recent acquisition of Kinder Morgan shares?  Not that familiar with Kinder Morgan but it sounds like similar business to Veresen.

  Actually VSN is a partner with  El Paso (affiliate of  KM) and KM is the operator of the Ruby Pipeline,     KM got into trouble as they were about to see a credit downgrade to junk status and they cut their divvy to avoid that.  Veresen was just reaffirmed as investment grade in Jan and has no such issues.  Kinder has more commodity exposure than Veresen

Interesting, thanks for that. I thought maybe Buffett's interest might help push similar companies up as part of a general show of confidence in the sector.
