Cup and Handle Forming
Time will tell about the divvy. In parallel with that common concern that is held by the market regarding the dividend the VSN chart reflects a cup and handle pattern is forming. This can be a very positive momentum indicator if we see a breakout above the $9.50 area. Were that to happen I expect it will be above $10 fairly quickly. It may be this dividend concern is currently suppressing price gains as we wait for the quarterlies, this could be forming the handle on the cup currently. With the release of this quarters results it will be interesting to see if the breakout can occur in the next short while.
I would be very surprised if guidance is much changed from Dec, looking back over the last few years it doesn't move around to any great degree.
