VIXS XCODEPRO CHIPSETS FIRST TO SUPPORT HEVC PROCESSING UP TO ULTRA HD 4K RESOLUTIONS FOR CLOUD-BASED CONTENT DISTRIBUTION
ViXS Systems Inc.'s XCodePro family of products, designed for cloud-based and traditional broadcast distributors of premium content, support processing MPEG2, Advanced Video Coding and High Efficiency Video Coding up to 4K resolution, setting a new bar for density, quality and low power in broadcast infrastructure applications. The XCodePro 350 HEVC transcoder is sampling now with production available in Q1 of 2014, with additional XCodePro product launches planned across 2014 to create a full range of HEVC encoding and professional decoding solutions.
