Recent short term underperformance reasons/guesses

Its hard to watch on days like these, but part of how the market moves.  Some guesses why WCP is trading poorly recently.

1) Earnings trade this quarter is volatile.   Day traders are moving large positions for the earnings report, causing large swings.   WCP earnings was one of the first, so had a longer time to deflate.
2) Acquisitions could need to some short term uncertainty.   WCP did issue 35 million shares for the Kicking Horse purchase.   We got diluted.
