The price of West Texas Intermediate crude slipped below US$90 per barrel today for the first time this week. Geopolitics continue to be at play, now with a bit of hope on the Russia-Ukraine diplomacy front after the U.S. State Department said Secretary Antony Blinken is planning to meet with his Russian counterpart next week. Separately, for those who may be worried that shale producers won’t be able to resist the urge to drill, check out this quote from Scott Sheffield, who leads Pioneer Natural Resources: “Whether it’s $150 oil, $200 oil, or $100 oil, we’re not going to change our growth plans,” he told Bloomberg Television. He also suggested U.S. President Joe Biden would be out of luck if he calls asking Pioneer to ramp up output: “I’ll tell him we have a pact. It’s all about the shareholders.”

Oil starts off this morning  under $90.00 then makes a comeback and stock still drops.  Trying to find any reason why we're down .29 cents this morning.  Am I missing somethng here.  GLTA

Yupper Stever, thats the only reason that keeps me hanging on as the majority of these companys stock react the same.  Im the first guy to preach patience but still stuggle when this stuff happens. GLTA

  It's very strange.  I understood why oil dropped , and I get the sell off on Friday.  Oil recovers and we are hanging closer to the low than the high.        The stock price dropping is a huge gift for any body who missed the boat here.  This went to 9.66 correct ? For very good reason ?  To buy close to 9 even is a gift .     I

Well said.  It is an excellant opportunity at the moment.  I wish I could add on.  My stategy is the same, bit of a pain in the a..s seeing this stock (like others) consistantly all over the place.  I have no concerns about making money on this stock as thats a given but I too set up an escape route..LOL.  Looking forward to next week, should be a great report, only hoping
