Stock's volatility

It's my hunch the stock's volatility is due to its low price and its big float. Being cheap, it becomes a target of all joes Six-Packs and also due to its high liquidity is targeted by the hedge funds. The company must buy back stocks and reduce the shares outstanding. And when the stock goes up to teens, if ever, volatility will moderate. But also notice the stock is going up slowly but steady.

Amazing how WCP, CPG and others can only manage to jump a few pennies on a day where WTI jumps by dollars. Funny how their sp always seems to lag a rise in WTI by a day or two.  It's as if the market is waiting to see if WTI price sticks before paying more for Canadian E&P shares.
