WCP or CPG

Need some honest feedback on thoughts of moving money over from CPG to WCP. Here are some points that is making me think to move money over.

1. Lower debt. Will pay off sooner
2. Higher Diivy yield
3. Will be producing more Nat Gas
4.
5.

Anything else Im missing? CPG has had a higher run percentage wise and WCP need to play catch up.

Did I miss anything?

Thoughts?

Shakka,  I lack the background to offer up any reasonable advise so my money is on 19790craig, momoney and barneyj44.  If any of these guys chime in I would seriously consider what they have to say. GLTA

Shak: I have been thinking about this same dilema as you. Splitting ownership between the two companies could be a reasonable compromise. But either way, they both seem to be good long term bets right now. Otherwise I would add while WCP has a higher share count, their NCIB has been doing a better job of reducing the number of shares, more so than CPG.  AB

On a personal note my two Oil holdings are Cpg and Wcp. Both good companies

CPG has an American listing as well as TSX so its going to attract more eyes when the Yankees want to buy Can oils. Both companies are solid, making huge coin and I'm guessing about $14-16 for each by Xmas as long as WTI stays over $100

I own both, among other O&G stocks. It is hard/foolish to try to predict movements in the short term. I own them each for slightly different reasons. Here are my thoughts, which others may disagree with.   Whitecap has a great management team, it has consistently made top acquisitions, it has a solid financial plan and it sticks to what is says it is going to do. Dividends, NCIB ...more

You sure hit it on the head jleer42.  I wish I had the coin to hold both in WCP right now. GLTA

You summed up my thoughts as well jleer... agreed CPG has more torque.. but WCP is executing well.. CPG has turned the corner with the Kaybob buy and the old missteps are a thing of the past which really are irrelevant at this stage.. going forward it seems CPG's management have been doing all the right things.. for the record I own both as well.. but much more CPG..
