Make a recession impossible? Because a recession requires technically a shrinking gdp over 6 month period......its hard to imagine a shrinking gdp when the dollar has tanked and inflation is 7.7%..........my point is the gdp measured in dollars will no doubt rise due to the above.......however ad a nation we will all feel a heck of alot poorer

Exactly, not to mention grain prices are in that all time high range, and it'll be a bumper crop this year. That alone will reduce risk of recession. As for job data calculations; everything gets more automated by the minute, what one worker does now with the help of automation is what 2-20 workers used to do back in the day. Anyway I don't think a recession will come or if it does it' ...more
