What about a Birchcliff/Whitecap Merger

Any thoughts about Whitecap and Birchcliff joining forces. Now that we have a foothold in the Montney and a little more gassy it may be a good fit. Birchcliff shareholders would still keep there dividend. Could explain Whitecaps recent weakness and today's move in Birchcliff.  Wouldn't mind that move as I hold both

Unfortunately Whitecap has been a dog as well trading at 52 week lows. Something needs to happen  to set a spark under us.

Synchronicity. I had this thought yesterday that BIR is up for grabs. NG is going to be hot property 2025 onwards. It is better to stay away from PEY, BIR during 2024. .

I would not want WCP to get any more gassier. We are getting warm winters . I doubt this trend reverses any time soon. The eco terrorist clueless think it's a dirty hydrocarbon even if it replaces coal FFS. I agree . But us both preaching to the choir means nothing . We have purple haired nose ring Birkenstock wearing morons running our energy future . Now that Sleepy Joe has stopped new LNG approvals, what do you guess our little boy at the helm is going to do ?   Try building another LNG depot in Canada.  Good luck We will need dozens of nuclear plants to even consider reaching our ...more

Citizen13 it's not all about heating when it comes to NG. Warm climate countries are using it for power generation for electricity to provide cooling, industrial uses, cooking etc.
