OPEC is the ultimate Put Option . Why they had to declare this winding down now is a head scratcher but they did it and paid a price . They are in control but not as much as theyd like as shale can still overproduce , the greedy poor business people they are . One day shale will fizzle out and OPEC will win the long game.
