Barking Crud on to Something

As usual NO, just more noise with plenty of bullshite!! The report was basically an update of what Klein projected in he first report...there was no material loss here and absolutely no justification for all the red we saw Friday, this report was basically the interim report to be expected, with target for profit realized target re upped for the back half of FY2022.

Let's not get our knickers in a bunch here girls there is nothing here but an update on the progress of operations and while longs would have liked to see much better, much faster, as long as Klein is on target and basically supporting their timeline going forward this is a good report....as always just the manipulation trying to distort reality.

The only concern that WEED and it's SHs have is the preservation of democracy and this company will meet and/ or exceed all expectations in the near term. All the best to all the longs. JMHO...Opt

LOL!  Klein has lost his credibility.  Not just for when it comes to political predictions but even predictions for his own company that he runs.  These numbers include Supreme, "Excluding the impact from acquired businesses, net revenue declined 13% and cannabis revenue declined 14% versus Q2 FY2021."  And this during a year where the Canadian market as a whole ...more

Wow. You are so incredibly delusional that I don't even know where to start. Do you realize your going to lose it all? Has it even remotely dawned on you? Do yourself a HUGE favour and go talk to a former Nortel shareholder. ;)
Comment by Starsearcher80 on Nov 07, 2021 6:43pm
And just to school you (yet again), Nortel, "the biggest and the best"(sound familiar?) was $124.50 at the high. But they spent their way to oblivion (sound familiar?), and in the end, were so bloated that they couldn't get out from under the mess they created (sound familiar?) with products that no one wanted (sound familiar?) We all know how the story ended. The stock went to ZERO. ...more

Read a random poster but first check out recent downgrades (Cannacord and CIBC) Mr. Bottomley dropped his target for Canopy shares to $12 from $25. The average on the Street is $20.74, according to Refinitiv data. Elsewhere, CIBC World Markets’s John Zamparo lowered the stock to “underperformer” from “neutral” with a $12 target, falling from $22.

There is an endless list of topics to choose from on the merits and faults of Canopy as a viable investment (not that this forum is big on "discussion").  What the "analysts" say or do is of absolutely no consequence at this stage - none - so perhaps try another tack if dissuasion is your goal. Analysts.  Every single one of those useless fukkers has an ulterior ...more

Yup all analysts are scum who do not care about their reputation when it comes to forecasting stocks. They all drink the kool-aid they are told to drink. You sound like you got fired and are still bitter....     I spent 15 years at a large Canadian financial institution fyi and those that were involved with analysing were constantly stressing about their accuracy.... Are all ...more

LOL - yup, I'm bitter alright.  Seeing first hand on a daily basis the impact of corporate greed on the lives of retail investors and the complicity of "financial advisors" with no accountability made me very bitter, indeed.  Until I see a substantial change in policy, and rigorous policing of those policies withinin the industry (and we all know that ain't gonna ...more

Give it a rest - we all know how corrupt your industry is.  No one has any illusions about FAs caring about their reputation. My first FA saddled me with a stupid mutual fund pre-authorized paiment and with unneccesary life insurance, then he wrote a book about how the market will crash and then disappeared Another !diot advised me not to invest inTesla, just because he was so clueless ...more

One of my fave stories from when I worked for that bastion of corruption was the day back in 2012 when I bot FB into my own account (trading then at $18) and actually got an email from head office demanding - like, DEMANDING - to know why I was buying it when it wasn't on their "recommended list".  I ignored the email and we all know what happened to FB.  I truly just thank ...more

Maybe the problem you two have is not being able to rea? At no point in my lengthy comment did I make any reference to a personal financial advisor - not one.  I referenced analysts that I knew from work who genuinely cared about the projections they were putting there names next to. As far as hardonforivanka goes get bent - Canopy is not facebook. Facebook had and still ...more

I was referring to buying Tesla stock in 2010, not today. As far as the analysts go, they "analyze" only what's being fed to them. Those analysts have been in denial wrt cannabis stocks for the last 6 years - always coming up with reasons why ppl should not buy these stocks. As a result, thousands of people have missed out on some great revenues. They have also missed other new ...more

So why the sad tale about your financial advisor? Buying mutual funds via pre-auth is not necessarily a bad thing btw. Diversification of ones portfolio is highly recommended. Some people are better off with withdrawals of $25 a week or whatever as it forces them to save in a relatively safe manner. Its not that mutual funds that are bad its some are bad. No different than equities. Your FA that ...more

Ridingrockets. A voice from the past. How is Hammer town. i see your still doing your product testing and keeping well versed in the QA/QC of all the available products on the market. Good to read your reviews. always nice to read various discussions on the real merits of this industry company, products etc etc. on this BB instead of all of the name calling and same old same old bickering back and ...more

AOGEE!!!      Was just about to go for a night walkcap! Hammer is still swinging. Covid hasn't changed a thing! Yeah I tried to get a talk going re Indiva but that didn't go very well. Instead it appears I got a CGC supporter with a misunderstanding of the contracts in place... I did buy Indiva shortly after the announcement. Take a chance on it. I do believe it is in ...more

Hey House. How's everything up in the beautiful Bruce area of Ontario. I've been up there quite a bit at the summer place doing some work. Lost all my profit from Supreme on Weed so I have to self perform my own work now. Lol hope you are doing well take care.  Cheers AOGEE

Ohhhh, ridingrockets is from Hamilton?!?!  Well, that explains a lot, lol.  Great place to be FROM, providing you managed to escape.

Maybe a tough pill to swallow Ivanka but I ll bet riding rockets has done pretty well in his real estate ownership in the Hammer. Now the 3rd most expensive place to live in North America behind Vancouver and Toronto and ahead of San Jose and LA. His house is probably 4 or 5 times more than what he bought it for. I know because I have two rentals there also. Who is renting ,y places and buying the ...more

Mutual funds are wealth destroyers. ETF's are better in all respects if you aren't interested in individual positions.  regardless, 34% decline in b2b revenue is a serious problem for canopy and I am long.
