But within the legal market, analysts say, there is little brand loyalty and market share is tenuous. In March, 2021, four large producers – Tilray Brands Inc. TLRY-T, Hexo Corp. HEXO-T, Canopy Growth Corp. WEED-T and Aurora Cannabis ACB-T – accounted for 54 per cent of retail sales, according to figures from Hifyre, a data platform that covers a portion of the Canadian cannabis retail market. A year later, they made up just 28 per cent of sales.

Wow! From 58%last year to 28% this year?? This is WAYYY worse than i thought for Canopy. Imho, this company will NOT survive.

Further to this, Canopy was vastly over capacity a year ago... when they were at 58% market share. How much overcapacity are they now, at 28% market share? Have they trimmed the company accordingly?? HELL NO. Then add how many Sku's they, AND Agco canceled because they were NOT selling due to being lousy quality. So all of this makes them even MORE of a bloated pig than they were a year ago ...more
