The last gasp before the big axe falls?

Nice little relief rally in the big pots stocks, especially guys like Canopy & Tilray...... or is it? Now that i think about it & carefully look at it, it's not even across the board or sector wide, it's just really limited to a few stocks mostly Tilray & Canopy. So is there something concerte behind this strange move or is this just another temporary bounce before going back to its slow bleed out? Well, it depends who you really ask imo.

So depending who you ask, you'll get a very different response, a very diffferent picture. Asking a TA chartist and he'll tell you this is just a technicality or some sort of burning candle or emoji or happy doji until something else completely meaningless some other "thing" happens. Ask a staunch "diamond hands" long, and of which we got a few of those winners (or is it whiners??) on this board, and they'll probably say "its back baby, to the mooooon a $100 stock soon!". Not sure if they would say this before or maybe after, before implying that their counterparts, the shorts, "burn like toast" or that they luv the smell of burnt toast or something along those crazy lines. And talking about the shorts, i'm guessing asking a short seller WTF is happening here is like praying & asking Jesus for forgiveness for some benign act of sin commited, along with the metaphorical implication of several dead cats bouncing all over the place selling for pennies on the dollar. Not sure what Jesus, pennies and dead cats bouncing have in common here but.....there you go.

So if none of the above options suits you or is to your liking, then i guess you're out of luck & just stuck with my own personal version & explanation of it. And what i have to say is probably not be to your satisfaction either but you'll definitely understand it and appreciate it much more than the others above. And all i have to say regarding this situation is the following, it's that they can all be right ALL at the same time. Maybe the $100 implication is a bit exaggerated & a complete fictional figure but if you read inbetween the lines you'll eventually get it.

For those of you still completely confused, i'll say it as simple as i possible in the most laymen or lamest of terms so even a chimp could understand. So here it goes. Sure something could be up here with both Tilray & Canopy which involves both companies in some sort of event. But the real question here is this, " is it realy worth it for investors to buy in now or to continue holding on?" In which i would reply the following, "maybe, maybe not" tough call. Imo, the damage is so extensive & the environment so toxic & not viable that even if the outcome was good for both, it probably wouldn't justify the inital investment in the first place. Or as i would say, "don't bet the farm it is".

Both companies are in a bad, desperate place right now and when stuff reaches that level of desperation, extreme, unthinkable & desperate actions are taken. Like an amalgamation of two suffering companies into a single viable one. This of course, is just an example 8).

Honey, if you're going to try to engage people for five long, dreary paragraphs full of spelling mistakes, badly constructed sentences and attempts at literary sang froid, you'll have to do much better than this.  You lost me half way through paragraph two.  At least take a creative writing course.  As it is, your attempt at rationalizing today's green blips or tomorrow& ...more

Yeah, I must have hurt his feelings.  I wouldn't know, since I put him on iggie right after posting.  His nonsensical word salads hurt my pretty blonde head.  I get enough of that shite from my daddy, who, I fear, is about to be sent up the creek without a paddle.  I told Jarhead we shouldn't have mentioned those boxes to the FBI.
