No catalyst because there are no more naked short selling in Canada. Anyway, it is only related to Canada since they don't naked short sell in the US. One was caught not long ago in the US but it was not related to the cannabis sector. The US regulate, Canada has Trudeau.  The volume in the US is a lot more than Canada and the US don't naked short sell. There were short sellers with ...more

This is actually a VERY interesting development for the Cannabis Sector as I suspect a heavy presense of Naked Shorts hitting the Canadian Cannabis Companies.  Without Naked Shorting larger traders and Hedge Funds will not have ready access to shares to dump on the market and drive the shareprice down, trip stops and scare others into letting their shares go at deep losses.
