Canopy Growth Corp > Judging from all of the law suits

Judging from all of the law suits

getting filed, obviously the lawyers smell money!

My guess is that they are targeting a percentage of any monies recovered and recoverable.

Don't committ to a legal action unless you are sure of what you are signing.

All the lawyers I have had to deal with want a retainer out of your pocket and my lawyers failed to report the burn rate of my retainer and just kept billing me.

Gheezus, even the copy and filing fees and stamps and miscellaneous added up and they like to generate paper and add handling fees and registration fees on too.

When they say they will present you for 50% of recoverable settlement, in my case that didn't include the paper handling, copying and delivery fees which took it way above the 50% they wanted.

And what will happen to all of those suits when Kein pulls this together to do business as Canopy USA.

This planned event will signal something seriously positive for the US pot market if the professional management of STZ can pull this off.

If we get SAFE passed or a rescheduling of Federal legislation that removes marijuana and hemp, I daresay that the great American Greenrush will launch.

Barring some kind of legalization event I believe that more and more States will go with the State law protection and enforcement until the majority of States become legal for pharma use and most will be legal for adult rec use.

I want the Greenrush option because it will restore the faith of pot investors or the people charged with dealing with this issue will continue to let this unfold without fanfare, one State at a time, which will probably help to eliminate the high stakes that Cartels and Gangs play and the threat of serious harm or death to their loved ones and friends.

The US politicians really need to show some strength on this issue or admit that the Cartels are in control.

The US, sadly, is starting to take on the persona of Mexico under Cartel control where not only gangs and cartel members are dying but good citizens and children too.

The best option that I see is the US legalizing marijuana for adults and patients with general laws that apply to all States such that it allows crossing State lines legally with the products, all safe and inspected and also traceable.

I would deal with the Cartels by giving them the growing and supplying good quality and safe pot to the US where the more sophisticated potpreneurs can take the base marijuana product and make value added skus like edibles and drinkables.

Tropical countries with cheap labour can supply this cheaper than US growers, especially the ones that are greenhousing the plant while paying the light and heat bill and more expesive labour.

That would help to reign in the illegal grows all over the US and help to protect the quality and safety for US consumers.

It would also allow the Cartels to save face and become legit in the North American and World markets.

Not dealing with the Cartels and Gangs is only going to make things worse.

Where's the Kennedy's when you need them!  They would go after them!

My guess buddy your a CONservative and a fooken idiot. You would deal with the cartels for supply? Really? Only a CONsevative dipshitt like your idols Trump and POS Poilievre would say that because that's all you CONs really care about isn't it? MONEY and the ability to make it and pay the least amount of tax. Push the tax burden to middle class give the rich the tax breaks and then ...more

You've got lots of criticism and condesention but I didn't see a rational solution to the Cartel problem. I am no fan of dictator Trump and feel sad that the choice for electing politicians is so bad. The mafia switched to bona fide business, eos! Americans need to wake up and secure Democracy which very likely requires a whole new party of the people that gets rid of all the graft and ...more
