Sorry Quinlash...i just received my proxy vote formula and at item 4 onthe agenda is the vote for consolidation. However, no mention as to what the ratio will be. apparently they will have until september 25th to execute folowing the vote.

I have yet to see any papers show up, that is all I can say about that, maybe they are in the box at home.  In reading over what I can find on the subject the vote on Sept 25th is to approve a consolidation or not with the final date to excute being as late as Jan of 2024. I can't see the company doing it earlier than necessary, that is my view on the subject.  Ultimately it is up ...more

If they are seeking a yes vote for a consolidation, that would be a disaster. To me, that is a last resort on the way to oblivion. I guess if they are putting out a mailer they could check the pulse of the investors to see how stupid they are. The closer they take the shareprice to zero, the better it is for the lenders and preferred shareholders to scoop the valuable parts of a company which ...more

There's a month before the meeting, a lot of good things can happen in 30-days.  The consolidation isn't required until Jan of 2024 (latest) so again we may see something positive develop prior to that. A potential BioSteel deal may come to light.  Constellation Brands or Tilray could both be players for that one.  I hold a position in Tilray as well but, in all honesty, I ...more

We're talking about a company that has made questionable moves for an extended period of time, hoping for a miracle on the US side while investors watched the SP crater.  If it wasn't for one post a while back mentioning the consolidation up for vote in September most retail investors would not be aware of this potential strategy until after the vote.  Artificial increase in ...more

I do not see cutting cost and trying to focus on profitability as being questionable.  Most, if not all, of the cannabis companies have been doing the same since Biden failed to deliver on his promise to de-schedule / progress legalization state-side.   I realize many do not like to see folks lose their jobs etc however that is part of business and with many of these producers ...more

I see a steady sincere effort by Klein team to plug the cash drain in Canada. Kudos for that. Did the BioSteel deal properly disclose pertinent information that the deal was predicated on of did our team hoodwink themselves?  Buyer beware! STZ isn't fearful of the future of pot and hemp judging from their recent acquisitions. It is dissapointing that they aren't shouting from the ...more

Tilray buyout Canopy? That would be something. If Canopy could acquire a controlling share of VFF, that would be something. VFF sells more weed than Canopy and is almost profitable. Canopy would then dominate the cdn market and have more us assets.
