PEOPLE, HAVE YOU STILL NOT LEARNED??

You know what's worse than a company that is swirling down the toilet drain?  People who believe there is still a future in the p.o.s!!  A 10:1 reverse split.  Lovely.  If selling the furniture wasn't the death rattle of this "company", this reverse split definitely is.  Just take a look at the history of reverse splits.  I've NEVER seen one that works out.  If anything, it's just party time for the shorts to re-short all over again, basically vutures flying low over a corpse.

But there you are, getting ripped apart limb from limb, saying there's a future??  Just hang in there??  Wow.  You are at best only food for the pros.  Tell you what. Rather than give the pros your money, why not just take it out and donate it to some Christmas charity.  In the end, your money will still be gone, but at least this way you can feel good about it.

mmno made an interesting point. What about those institutions and shareholders who recently bought at $1.09US. How do you think they are feeling right now? Do you honestly believe they will be back to buy more shares- ever. I don't think so. Unbelievably bad management. They could have waited for legalization and had until Sept/2024. This just reemphizes my ;previous post- Canopy must know ...more

If you only invest in well run, profitable companies then stay away from this one. It is a POS. BUT, if you invest money in companies that you think you can make money on, this could be one. Remember.....If you make 5% three times, it's the same as 15%. Don't wait for the double. Those days are long gone.

Maybe to get new institutional investors on board?

Some insitutionals are restricted as to what Stocks they can purchase and the restrictions can extend to minimum shareprice.  Levels I typically see noted are $2 / $3 and $5.  Even the price the shares have been beated down to today we would be seeing a new SP of over $5 post-consolidation so the stock would therefore qualify for institutional investing by those previously restricted by ...more

Good Analogy of being ripped limb for limb.  For those that don't understand how the reverse split/consolidation works, that describes it verywell.   Nobody is going to put those limbs back on and the minute that consolidation is triggered, it is the beginning of the sting and the stinger keeps pumping the poison into the deal and the bee goes off and dies in the lender's ...more

What typically happens after a reverse split is dilution. They now have a higher share price and will start the printing press again. I hope this is not the case.
