Trading volume US vs Canada
is a barometer that I use just to get a sense of buying or selling sentiment in the US.

It is probably one of the less adulterated bits of accounting that most wouldn't worry about meddling with.

US volume today is about 3x Canadian trades for Canopy. There is a small uptick but the low volume doesn't indicate a stock about to runaway with shareprice appreciation.

10x vol US to Canada would indicate what I expect as a normal multiple based on population alone.

Canopy was a hell of a company at one time and was a major contributor to the first Canadian greenrush that opened the eys of investors to the upside potential that they ran with with wild abandoment of commonsense and unadulterated accounting principals.

Management of these companies greased the skids beyond commonsense with purchases of desirable companies and that still is happening to a certain degree. eg. BioSteel!

Canopy is still in buying mode, going after popular brands of skus, mostly related to cannabinoids and intent on hitching their wagon to potential winners for the US marketplace which everybody is waiting on for some positive new bills that will spark up the embers, like the good old days of potpreneurship.

Even with some new legislation that helps to swing the door open, there is still a huge right-sizing to supply and demand that needs fixing so the strong can survive.

The US has a huge illegal market for cannbinoids that needs to be dealt with to bring it all around to legal or what is the point!

Safety and security for US consumers and businesses would be welcomed by all except the illegal end of it and worth a little extra pricewise for that assurance.

The black market and gang activity plays too high stakes for good citizen businesses and it isn't worth death and dismemberment or harm to loved ones and friends for those trying to bring this around to safe and legal.

To get any political gain, the time is now to push those bills through that are considered pro-pot. Maybe too late already!

Afterhours on the bigger players was favorable as well with higher than average volume (vs avg after-hours volume)
